Vada Joyce Blevins

Vada Joyce Blevins, 80, passed away peacefully to meet her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at Hinkle House Hospice in Davidson County. Mrs. Blevins retired from Forsyth County Schools after 31 years. She enjoyed family, photography, and turning the pictures into memorable scrapbooking pages. Joyce was a member of Silver Valley Baptist Church. She was born, December 4, 1939 to the late Denvir and Bertha Burkhart. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Billy Ray Blevins; daughter, Leisa Hayworth and husband Tommy; sons, Billy Edward Blevins and wife Tember, Jeff Blevins; eightgrandchildren and eightgreat-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 2 pm, on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Silver Valley Baptist Church, 187 Willowmore Spring Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
