Tammy Lynn Pickard, born on April 15, 1968, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, in Lexington, NC, at the age of 57. She was the beloved daughter of the late Lewis Duncan and Janey Hickman.

Tammy accepted Christ as her Savior, a faith that guided her throughout her life. On February 25, 2010, she married the love of her life, Michael Brian Pickard, in Wentworth, NC, and together they shared many cherished years.

She dedicated her professional life to working as a stocker at Walmart, where her hard work and friendly demeanor were appreciated by all who knew her. Outside of work, Tammy found joy in planting flowers and crafting, and she had a remarkable ability to make those around her laugh with her infectious sense of humor.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, her son Steven Sizemore, and her stepson Allan Pickard. She is survived by her husband, Michael Brian Pickard; her loving children, daughter Joanna Rose and her fiancé Ryan Haga, and son Matthew Duncan and his wife Tiffany; and her siblings, brother Benji Duncan, and sister Amy Bullins. She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Amie Pickard and Adam Pickard.

Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Brandon Rose, Stephen Nunn, Savanna Dunlap, Christy Rodriguez, Abby Burleson, Alex Pickard, and Alston Pickard, as well as her great-grandchildren: Ella Rodriguez, Rowan Rodriguez, Asher Rodriguez, Ivy Rodriguez, Tyreek Dunlap, Brinleigh Hamm, and Carson Pickard.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held. Her family and friends will remember her warmth, kindness, and the laughter she brought into their lives.
