Susan "Susie" Lynn Phillips Sims-Cothran

Susan "Susie" Lynn Phillips Sims-Cothran, age 52, of Trinity, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2022, at her home. Born on July 16, 1970, in Greensboro, she was the daughter of Susan Schultz Caulder and the late Leonard Preston Phillips.
Susie was an avid NASCAR fan and an even bigger Dale Earnhardt fan. She collected unicorns, loved to read and going to the beach, especially her favorites, Carolina Beach and Oak Island. Susie loved and cherished her family and had a passion for Country music.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, David Cothran; daughter, Patricia Keever; son, Teddy Rae Wilson; grandchildren, Zachary Allen Keever, Justin Lee Keever, Haley Nicole Keever, and Trent Ashton Wilson; her mother and stepfather, Susan Schultz Caulder and Mitchell Caulder; her sister, Amy Brown; niece, Ashley Elizabeth Nobles; nephew, Clayton T. Brown, Jr.; seven great nieces and great nephews; and her special friends, James "Jim" Hawks and Kim Ingram.
A celebration gathering to honor her life will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Thomasville Chapel of Nicholson Funerals & Cremations.
