Sandy Bass

Sandy Bass, affectionately known as Sanda Jane T Bass, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, at the Willow Valley Center for Nursing & Rehab in Winston Salem, NC, at the age of 84. Born on July 26, 1941, in Salt Lake City, UT, she was the cherished daughter of the late Selig Williams Bass and Louise Estelle Lancaster.

Sandy dedicated over a decade of her professional life to AA Auction and Appraisal LLC, where she served as the owner and an SRA-designated Appraiser. Her work was marked by dedication and integrity, earning her the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sandy found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader and a passionate traveler, exploring new places and cultures with enthusiasm. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved great-grandchildren. Whether helping with homework, guiding them through science projects, or sharing stories and laughter, Sandy's love and wisdom left an indelible mark on their lives.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Selden Wayne "Colin" Bass. Sandy leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted daughter Sharlene Paul; her grandchildren Amy Paul and Chris "CJ" Paul (Marie); and her great-grandchildren Hailey Paul, Kandi Paul, Ariel Quintero, Andres Quintero, Mckenzie Zepeda-Paul, Katie Grainger, Oswaldo Zepeda-Paul, and Kevin Grainger, all of High Point. She is also survived by her brothers Kenton Lynn "Kent" Bass and Kevin Duane Bass of Salt Lake City, UT.

At this time, no formal services are planned. The family requests that those who wish to honor Sandy's memory do so by cherishing their loved ones and sharing laughter and stories, just as she did throughout her life.
