Robin Gail Mock

Robin Gail Mock, age 69, of Lexington, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center.

Born on June 15, 1957, Robin was the beloved daughter of the late Grover Lee Chittum, Jr. and Marian Elsie Wood Chittum. She received her formal education at Rockbridge High School in Fairfield, Virginia. Robin devoted much of her career to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lexington Health Care Center until her health declined in 2019.

Robin cherished spending time with her daughter, enjoying shopping excursions together, and found great joy in playing with her many cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Wayne Chittum and Allen Chittum; and sister Vicky Chittum Stanley.

Robin is survived by her loving daughter, Stephanie Postell and her husband Carl; grandsons Raekwon Latner and Keondre Latner; brothers Gary Chittum and Donnie Stubblefield; sister Brenda Rhodenizer; brother-in-law Alfred Stanley; sister-in-law Cindy Chittum; and seven nieces and nephews.

At this time, there will be no formal services. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the support and kindness extended during this time of loss.
