Randall "Randy" Max Welch

Randall “Randy” Max Welch, age 76, of Thomasville, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Born on October 24, 1947, in Thomasville, NC, he was the son of the late William Boyd Welch and Virginia Katherine Black Welch.
“Randy” was a Veteran of the United States Army having received the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed working in his yard. He also loved “driving through the countryside.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Boyd and Virginia Welch. Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Mary Brown Welch; daughter, Tera Litten and her husband, Mike; son, Brian Welch; grandchildren, Aiden Donner Welch, Caroline Welch, Sam Litten, and Henry Litten; sisters, Linda Lambeth and her husband, David, and Vickie Leonard and her husband, Tommy; brothers, Jerrell Welch and his wife, Linda, and Russell Welch; a number of nieces and nephews; and his furry friend “Gracie” whom they loved one another very much.
At the request of the family, no services will be held.
