Philip "Phil" Lee Brady, born January 23, 1971, in Davidson County, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on April 29, 2025, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, at the age of 54. A beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Phil enriched the lives of those around him with his kind spirit and unwavering dedication.
Phil spent his professional career in facility services at Point Security Inc., where his work ethic and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Beyond his professional achievements, Phil's true passions lay in his volunteer work and personal interests. He was a dedicated volunteer at Upper Room Food Pantries, offering his time and energy to serve those in need within his community.
An avid car enthusiast, Phil found joy in working on cars, particularly Mustangs, which he cherished alongside his brother. His love for cars extended to drag racing, both participating in and watching the sport with great enthusiasm.
Phil was a member of Holloways Baptist Church in Lexington, North Carolina, where he attended services and formed enduring friendships. His faith and commitment to his church community were reflected in his generous spirit and caring nature.
He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. Surviving Phil are his mother, Ann Carrick Brady; Brother Scott Brady, and his wife Becky, sister, Lori Burris, and her husband Michael; nephew, Hunter Brady; niece, Courtney Livengood, and her husband Coty; nephew, Mason Burris; niece, Alyxandra Burris; step-nephew, Chase Burris; great-nephew, Hayden Livengood; great-niece, Harper Livengood; and numerous friends. Phil was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Brady.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Holloways Baptist Church in Lexington. Family visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holloways Baptist Church or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, causes close to Phil’s heart.
Phil's warmth, humor, and generosity will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
