Paula Jean Cassatt

Paula Jean Barnes Bobo Cassatt, age 71, of Lexington, passed away on October 24, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.

Born on December 5, 1954, in Rowan County, NC, Paula was the beloved daughter of the late Thurman Sr. and Dorothy Byrd Barnes. She received her formal education at Lexington Senior High School.

Paula was married first to James Bobo and later to Sean Cassatt. She is survived by her loving daughter, Candice Bobo; cherished granddaughter, Lauryn Bobo-Fuller; and many extended family members and friends who will remember her fondly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

At this time, there will be no formal services. The family appreciates the support and condolences extended during this difficult time.
