Patsy Michelle Harper

Patsy Michelle Harper, affectionately known as Michelle, a loving mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at the age of 54, at Hinkle Hospice House. Born on April 3, 1972, in Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina, Michelle graced the world with her vibrant spirit and loving nature.

Michelle was born to Tony Ray Drake and the late Patsy Elizabeth (Sweigart) Applebee. Throughout her life, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, finding joy in their company and creating lasting memories. Her love for the beach was well-known, as she often found solace and happiness in the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun. Michelle also had a keen interest in crime documentaries, which she enjoyed watching in her leisure time.

She is survived by her beloved children, Brittany Dooley (Rodny Waren), Joshua Harper (Alisa), and Samantha Stacy (Zackary); her father, Tony Drake; and her devoted sisters, Tracy Osborne and Tonya Austin. Michelle's legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Dakotah Dooley, Elijah Dooley, Ryleigh Harper, Xavier Harper, Niklaus Harper, Teagan Harper, Roman Waren, and Castiel Stacy, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Preceded in death by her mother, Michelle's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held by her family at a later date, where they will gather to honor and remember the beautiful life Michelle led. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, an organization that provided comfort and care in her final days.

Michelle Harper's life was a testament to the power of love and family, and she will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
