Martha Ellen Tate

Martha Ellen Tate, 64 of Lexington, entered her heavenly home on Thursday, May 23, 2024, after an 8-month battle with cancer. She was born on December 5, 1959, in Lexington to Barbara and Richard Tate. Martha worked many years for PPG. She enjoyed spending time with her precious fur babies, Willow, Milo and Sticks. In her spare time, she kept busy with crafting, and quilt making.

Martha is preceded in death by her father, Richard Tate; sisters, Cynthia “Cindy” Jo Burrows and Debra Jane Tate. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Barbara “Sissy” Tate; nephews, Chris Tate and wife Rhonda Kaye, Justin Koontz and wife Meghan; great nephews, Korbin Tate and great niece, Madison Tate (Jacob). She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to express special thanks to Jacob who devoted a lot of time in taking care of Martha during her illness. She was truly blessed by his care and compassion.
