Lorri Ann Suggs

Lorri Ann Suggs, born on May 27, 1970, in Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2026, at the age of 56. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Lorri was born to the late William Allen Rouse, Sr. and Debora Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother. She married James Lee Suggs on July 12, 2018, in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and together they built a life filled with love and devotion.

Lorri attended Coastal Carolina University, where she pursued her education with dedication. She accepted Christ as her Savior and was of the Baptist faith, living her life with compassion and kindness.

She had a deep love for her dogs and cats and found joy in helping others. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, who were the center of her world.

Lorri is survived by her devoted husband, Lee Suggs; her loving daughters, Tiffany Simpson, Brittany Hill, and Sara Bolwerk; and her cherished grandchildren, Christina Bolwerk, Taylor Simpson, and Valerie Simpson. She is also survived by her brother, Bobby Rouse, who will miss her dearly.

No formal services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Lorri's heart.

Lorri Ann Suggs will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
