Lindsay Wade Hughes

Lindsay Wade Hughes, born on August 7, 1959, in Davidson County, North Carolina, passed away on February 16, 2026, in the same county he called home throughout his life. Lindsay was 66 years old at the time of his passing.

Lindsay dedicated many years of his life to working as a mill worker in the local sawmill, contributing to the community through his hard work and commitment.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lindsay Hughes; his mother, Peggy Hughes; and his brother, William Hughes.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Beverly Macias; his brothers, Daniel Hughes, Alan Hughes, Mickey Hughes, and Thomas Hughes; and his sister, Rita Hendrick, and a host of nieces and nephews.

No services will be held at this time; however, a memorial may be held at a later date to honor Lindsay's life and legacy.
