Mrs. Linda Vinson

Linda Frances Vinson, 76, of Statesville, passed away on October 11, 2022.
Mrs. Vinson was born November 12, 1945, to Mr. Francis Guigou and Mrs. Ruby Black Guigou. She married Mr. Kerry Dane Vinson on April 8, 1967, they were together for 52 years before his passing in 2019. Linda enjoyed being creative and like to spend her time painting among other arts as well. She was art teacher for 12 years. She was a cat lover and adored her cat Baby. Linda loved the Lord, she was a member Believers Faith Center in Statesville, NC.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Ruby Guigou, husband, Kerry Vinson, and sister, Phyllis Sigmon.
She is survived by her son, Theron Vinson (Melodie) of Troutman, NC; grandchildren, Mathew Vinson (Taylor) of Statesville, NC, Mackenzie Vinson of Boonville, NC, and Zachary Vinson of Troutman, NC; and her beloved cat, Baby who is now in the care of Mackenzie.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 15th, 2022, from 2pm to 4 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home in Statesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center at dovehousecac.org
