Lessie Aretha Kersey

Lessie Aretha Kersey, 56, of Thomasville, North Carolina, died Sunday, May 1, 2022. She was born April 19, 1966, in Thomasville, North Carolina, to Catherine Kersey and the late Lester Kersey. Lessie graduated from Thomasville City Schools in 1985. She worked in Nursing Homes. In addition to her father, Lester Kersey, Lessie was preceded in death by her brother, Ben Skeen, and her brother-in-law, Kenny Young. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Catherine Kersey; brothers, Eric Kersey (Tina), Kenneth Kersey, Michael Kersey, Reginald Kersey, Keith Medley of the home, all of Thomasville, NC, and Terry Knotts of Winston-Salem; sisters, Teresa Hines (Norman) of Thomasville, NC, Tammy Young of Fayetteville, NC, and Marilyn Knotts of Wadesboro, NC; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
