Keaton Tyler Grant

July 4, 1993 — October 15, 2021

Keaton Tyler Grant 28, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on October 15, 2021. He was born on July 4, 1993 in Guilford County to James Carl Grant, Jr. and Karen Malloy Grant. He attended schools in Guilford and Forsyth Counties. He was known and loved by many. He was a beloved son, father, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. His beautiful smile and personality will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know him. Keaton worked as a tree climber most of his adult life, and was very respected as a good worker who took pride in his work. The people he worked with at JEC Tree Service were all like family to Keaton. He owned and operated Grant's Tree Service and Landscaping and most recently was employed with High Point Tree and Fence, where he was very respected and loved. Keaton was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Carl Grant, Sr. and Dorothy Jones Grant, an Aunt, Jackie Carol Grant Jones and several dear friends. Left to treasure Keaton's memory are his maternal grandparents, Howard and Patricia Greene of Summerfield, father James Carl Grant, Jr. and Sandra of Denton, mother Karen Malloy Grant of Summerfield, daughters Karleigh Jade Grant and Kayleigh Brooke Laws, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and companion Zeus. Rest in Peace Baby Boy, until we meet again. Services will be held at Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 2817 Abbotts Creek Church Road, High Point, NC. on Sunday October 24. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 2 pm, graveside service to follow at church cemetery at 2 pm. We cried when you passed away, we still cry today. Although we loved you dearly, we couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
