Julio Antonio Ortiz, age 76, of High Point, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Magnolia Gardens Nursing & Rehab Center in Thomasville. Born on July 4, 1947, in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Julio Antonio Ortiz and Luz Soto.
Julio was a man of good character and is best described as a loving and caring person. Left to cherish his memory include his children, Luzvira Soto, Zeni Ortiz, Jessica Ortiz, Elizabeth Ortiz, Julio Reyes, Jason Reyes, Jonathan Ortiz, and Robert Ortiz; and his grandchildren, Erica, Julito, Genesis, Yael, Daniel, Valery, Jaysha, Danielle, Eliel, JayJay, Crystal, Charlene, Emely, Jayson, Josiah, Zoet, Avery, Brian, Destiny, Lanaray, Elkin, and Derek.
A private memorial gathering in his memory will be held at Nicholson Funerals & Cremations, Thomasville Chapel.
