Johnny Eugene Boggs

Johnny Eugene Boggs, born on February 7, 1991, in Guilford County, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2026, at the age of 35. He was the beloved son of Lonnie Eugene Boggs, Jr. and Vanessa Kay Hopkins.

Johnny received his formal education from Davidson County Community College in Lexington, where he nurtured a love for learning and developed lifelong friendships. He was known for his passion for music, his adventurous spirit in ghost hunting, and his peaceful moments spent fishing.

Johnny is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Boggs, and his cousin, Kimberly Hopkins. He is survived by his devoted mother and best friend, Vanessa Hopkins, and her partner Chris Partin; his father, Lonnie Boggs, and his wife Jennifer; as well as his brothers Jeremy Hopkins and his partner Hannah Sparks, Jarrett Dickens and his partner Danielle Murray, and Jesse Boggs.

He will be dearly missed by his cherished nieces, Natalie, Aubree, Emma, Octavia, Oaklynn, and Charlotte "Charlie", whom he loved with all his heart.

In this time of sorrow, Johnny's family finds comfort in the memories they shared with him and the joy he brought into their lives. Although no formal services are planned at this time, those who knew Johnny are encouraged to celebrate his life in their own special way.

Johnny Eugene Boggs will forever be remembered for his kind heart, his love for adventure, and the warmth he brought to everyone who knew him.
