James Thompson

James Franklin Thompson, age 84, of Lexington, passed away July 29, 2024 in Lexington. Jimmy was born in Iredell County to the late James E. Thompson and Nettie Basinger Thompson. Jimmy grew up loving sports, football, and wrestling in school. He retired from Proctor & Schwartz. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating, and his trips to the beach. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ann Watkins Thompson.
