Jackie Key was an extraordinary woman whose life was defined by love, compassion, and selflessness. She was kind, caring, considerate, and deeply compassionate—a true light to everyone who knew her. Jackie was an irreplaceable wife, mother, sister, and friend.
She had a special heart for helping others, always going out of her way to care for the elderly neighbors on her hall. Her gentle spirit and warm presence brought comfort and kindness to all who crossed her path.
Jackie also knew how to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. She shared with many a love for watermelon, cantaloupe, crab legs, and muscadines—small joys that now serve as sweet reminders of her laughter and love.
We are blessed beyond belief to have known her and to have experienced the joy of her presence. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Tony Pride Sr.; her sister, Lisa Key; her children: Jeremy Key, Tekiera Key, Shirley Knowles, and Tony Pride Jr.; and her daughter-in-law, Ebony Key. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Corbin Knowles, Josie Knowles, Amari Wilson, and Zaria Key; as well as her niece and nephews: Derek Key, Michael Key, and Tylyn Corpening.
Jackie’s legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will remain in our hearts forever.
