Diego Ortega

Diego Ortega, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 33. Born on January 24, 1992, in Sonoma County, California, Diego was the cherished son of Francisco and Maria Vasquez Ortega.

On April 23, 2018, Diego married the love of his life, Melissa Mendoza-Hidalgo, in Murrieta, California. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared many cherished moments.

Diego was a devoted family man who found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones. He had a passion for hiking, where he embraced the beauty of nature, and he took great pleasure in learning to cook, often sharing his culinary creations with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Ortega, and their four children: Diego, Andy, Cici, and Cain. His memory will forever be treasured by all who knew him.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services held. Diego's family invites those who knew him to remember him in their own personal ways, celebrating the warmth and kindness he brought into their lives.
