Debra Campbell Roach

Debra Campbell Roach, age 68, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on October 6, 2025.

Born on March 14, 1957, into a proud military family, Debra experienced life in many places before her family ultimately settled in North Carolina — the place she would call home. Her deep love for animals was evident throughout her life. She was an avid horse rider for many years and cherished the companionship of her beloved 11-year-old beagle, Buddy.

Debra dedicated much of her life to helping others through her work in the medical field. She began her career as an EMT and later served as a nursing assistant at Baptist Hospital. It was there she formed a lifelong friendship with Karen G. Lux, a bond that lasted over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Campbell and Daphine Toler Avent. She is survived by her brother, Stephen Lee Campbell.
