Danny Carl Grant

Danny Carl Grant, born on July 7, 1954, in Guilford County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Randolph County, North Carolina. He was 71 years old.

Danny was a dedicated and skilled VW Mechanic who had a lifelong passion for race cars and drag racing. His love for automobiles was paralleled only by his enjoyment of working in his yard and spending time with his beloved family.

A proud Army Veteran, Danny carried the values of honor and service throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Verlin Grant, mother, Rosa Mae Grant, brother, Bobby Grant, and sister, Sheila Grant.

He is survived by his loving sister, Tina Grant, and brother, Johnny Grant. His legacy continues through his children: daughter, Jennifer Kintner, and her fiancé, Lee Gaines; son, Jimmy Lee Grant; and son, Justin Jarrell Grant. Danny was a devoted grandfather to James Ryan, Savannah Rose, and Bryson Grant. He also leaves behind his cherished significant other, Sallie Hord.

Danny’s warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever be treasured by his family and friends.
