Brian Keith Fistler passed from this life on November 14, 2025, at his home inThomasville, NC surrounded by family and friends.

Brian was born on January 25,1964, in Sioux City, Iowa, son of Harold and Cecelia Fistler of Eldora, Iowa. Brian graduated from Eldora-New Providence High School in 1982. He married Brenda Stamey in 2012 and made their home in Winston-Salem,North Carolina.

He loved the Blue Ridge Parkway and spent many hours exploring and learning about the beauty of the area. He was the first administrator of the Winston-Salem Motorcycle Riders for many years, which now has over 670 members. He completed the Iron Butt Association 1000+Miles in 24 hours in 2016 and 2017 and was a member of the BMW Motorcycle Owners Association. He enjoyed planning many rides and adventures for the club as well as cross-country trips with friends David Faas, Ted Sink and Steven Van Derlinden. An annual highlight was the Roadkill Festival in West Virginia.

Brian enjoyed sharing his love of the area with friends and family while visiting the area. He was very talented at smoked meat creations which he shared gladly with friends and family, much to their enjoyment as well. Brian is remembered for his generosity and humor.

Brian was preceded in death by parents and grandparents. He is survived by wife Brenda, sister Diane (Craig) Zimmerman of Bristol, IL, daughter Samantha (Issak) Kleese of Cedar Rapids, IA, stepson Donald (April) Tomlin of Montegut, LA, stepdaughter Rezuba (Guy) Smith of Welcome, NC, stepdaughter Jamie (Rafael) Bowman Carroll of Summerville, SC, nephew Brian Zimmerman of Bristol, IL, and 15 step grandchildren.Brian is also remembered by his best friend, Karin Giodano, David Faas, Beth Coleman, Ted and Cat Sink, and wonderful neighbors Ezequiel, Lorena, Alexandra, Natalia, & Maria Fernanda Salinas.
