Brenda Bullins Walker

Brenda Bullins Walker, 80, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.

Born on January 2, 1946, in Stokes County, North Carolina, Brenda moved to Thomasville at a young age, where she grew up and built the foundation of her life. She married on December 24, 1960, to her first and only love, Gerald Walker. Later in life, Brenda moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she retired and enjoyed her years by the coast collecting shark teeth and playing arcade games before eventually returning to Thomasville, the place she always called home.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Walker; her parents, Rev. Frank and Lucille Bullins; her brothers, Franklin Bullins and Buddy Bullins; her sisters, Peggy Norton, Kathie Sands, and Cindy Hood; and her grandson, Alexander Walker.

She leaves behind a family who was the center of her world, including her five children: Jerry Walker, Terry Walker, Jackie Walker, Sherry Nobles, and Crystal Walker; her surviving brothers, Kenneth Bullins, Larry Bullins and wife Deronda, and David Bullins and wife Lori; her cherished grandchildren: BJ Walker, Brittany Williams and husband Cody, Brooke Byerly and husband Joe, Shawn Nobles, Alicia Hughes and husband Dusty, Haley Byerly, Destiny King and husband Seth, and Angela Ball and fiancé Hayden Pickett; as well as her two adored great-grandchildren, Alex and Barrett.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy came from caring for and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for the simple pleasures that brought her happiness throughout her life, including evening joy rides with Jackie, watching her favorite soap operas, trying her luck on an occasional scratch-off ticket, cooking for those she loved, collecting shark teeth along the shore, and enjoying arcade games during her retirement years.

A Funeral Service to honor the life of Brenda will be held at 2:00pm on May 14, 2026, at Community Baptist Church in Trinity, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00pm. Interment will follow the service at Community Baptist Church Cemetery in Lexington, NC.

Her memory will live on through the generations of family she cherished so deeply. Brenda Bullins Walker will be dearly missed, forever loved, and lovingly remembered always.
