Bonzia Kay Moose

Bonzia Kay Moose, 74, of Statesville, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Gordon Hospice House. Born in Catawba County on January 6, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Lessley Clarence Moose and Margaret Pearl Ikard. She was a librarian at Mitchell Community College for many years. She was a member of Rose Chapel United Methodist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher. Survivors include a brother, Bill Moose (Ena) and a sister, Rev. Lynne Lepley (Rev. Ralph)  and a niece, Katie Moose and a nephew, David Moose. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. today (Saturday) at the Maiden City Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Lepley officiating.
