Austin Leroy "AJ" Causey, Jr.

Austin Leroy “AJ” Causey, Jr., 36 of Lexington died Friday, May 3, 2024, following a brief illness.

He was born in Davidson County on November 8, 1987, to the late Austin L. Causey, Sr., and Lenoir Ward Causey. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca Causey Bean and Felicia Carol Causey, and his paternal grandfather and both maternal grandparents.

AJ had an associate degree from NADC and enjoyed his work. He enjoyed grilling, fishing, wood working, and spending time on the water. He had a very special connection with children and all he met loved him and called him “Uncle AJ”.

Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancé, Tiffany Medlin Williams, a brother, Allen Ward, paternal grandmother, Donnie Causey Lovette, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, along with numerous family and friends who loved him dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, May 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Journey Church in Lexington with Pastor Matt Leonard officiating.
