Attalah Gabriel was born on May 11, 1987, in New York, New York, to Susan Flowers and Lennox Gabriel. She was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her—full of grace, spirit, and warmth.
A proud alumna of Howard University in Washington, D.C., Attalah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She went on to work in both marketing and as a paralegal, building a career defined by creativity, dedication, and compassion.
At the center of her life was her personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She accepted Him as her Lord and Savior, and her faith was a steady source of strength and purpose throughout her journey.
Attalah had a deep zest for life. She found joy in music and dance, loved hiking and being outdoors, and treasured time with friends. A true foodie at heart, she delighted in trying new restaurants and sharing her own delicious home-cooked meals with loved ones. More than anything, Attalah cherished time with her family.
After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Attalah departed this life on July 16, 2025. She is survived by her sister, Katana Flowers, her mother, Susan Flowers, and her stepfather, Christopher Healy. Their hearts are filled with the warmth of her spirit and the love she shared.
