Angela Rea Clonch, affectionately known as Angel, passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on April 20, 1970, in Davidson County, North Carolina, Angel was the cherished daughter of Donna Hunt Gabard and the late Ronnie Lee Clonch.

Angel received her early education at West/Central Davidson in Lexington, NC, and furthered her studies at Davidson-Davie Community College. At the tender age of 10, she accepted Christ as her Savior, a decision that guided her throughout her life.

For three years, Angel dedicated herself to her role as a Quality Inspector at Thomas Built Bus, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Outside of her professional life, Angel found joy in crafting, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and bring beauty into the lives of those around her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Lee Clonch, and her brother, Brian Lee Clonch. Angel leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted mother, Donna H. Gabard; her brother, Joshua Gabard and his wife, Stephanie; her uncles, Paul (Sandra), Richard (Gail), and Marvin (Helen); and numerous nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Angel.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on August 1, 2026, at Word of God Ministry Church in Thomasville with Pastor Gary Blakely officiating. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
