Minnie Jean Fincham

Minnie Jean (Windon) Fincham - 78, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born in Dille, West Virginia, on April 6, 1943, to the late Mary Glendine (Lewis) Windon and Coleman Lester Windon. She married Leslie "Jim" Fincham on November 21, 1961, in Burnside, West Virginia. Minnie was a homemaker, and she enjoyed baby sitting and cooking for deer hunters. She finished the 10th grade and dropped out of school so her little brother, Wilbur, could go to school. Her father was sick and, in the hospital, often, which left no money for both children to attend school. In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her sons, Leroy and Ricky Fincham, and her twin daughters, Candy, and Sandy. She was also preceded by her brothers, Leon and Ronald, and sisters, Patsy and Betty Carol, and twins that were not named yet. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Connie Jones (husband Joe) and Bobbie Jo Willard; brother, Wilbur Windon (wife Lola); grandchildren, Casey Jones (wife Nicole), Chris Dunning, Joseph Mansfield (wife Ashley), Allen Fincham (wife Ashley), Lesley Fincham, Elliott Fincham, Nesia Arthur (husband Chad), Benjamin King (wife Maryetta), and Christopher Lucas; great-grandchildren, Shayla, Elijah, Cadence, Elias, Aleigha, Michael, Abbie, Jaida, Dominic, Quentin, and Hunter. She is also survived by a special niece that spent much time with her growing up, Shannon Amentrout (husband Jason); and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held by family at a later date.
